The Exhibition
|
11 artists from different backgrounds, from and living in different areas of the UK, and with different artistic talents, join to plan an exhibition and display their work together. Not only to showcase talent, but also to show the strange webs we weave in our lives.
From the 17-year-old student to the veteran painter-musician-singer -songwriter, from the jewellery maker to the acrylics worker, the drummer to the magic realist, there's not much by way of "typical" within the group. Find out what connections have bought these 11 artistic and multi-talented people together to exhibit in Nottingham. From across Cheshire, Wales and, of course, Nottingham, we bring you affordable and varied pieces of art. |

Hopkinson Vintage, Antique and Arts Centre is a thriving four story venue in Nottingham City Centre, an independent and socially minded hub of antiques, arts, crafts, studio spaces and a cafe - all run by small local businesses. Their standing is such that although small, Hopkinson's gallery space has just hosted "Seen This?" with works by top British and international contemporary artists such as Tracey Emin, Gilbert & George, Jake & Dinos Chapman and Gavin Turk.
Please note: The exhibition is on the second floor, and there is no lift access available. |
